How do I use Expert Advisors (EA)?

EA can be downloaded from the community of MetaQuotes, the provider of the MT4/5 platform, or other sites.

After downloading it, follow the procedure below to run EA.

Step 1. Click Open File - Data Folder on the MT4/5 Menu


Step 2. Copy the EA file to MQL4/5 - Experts path


Step 3. Restart MT4/5


Step 4. Go to "Tools" > "Options" and enable "Allow Automated Trading."

 


Step 5. In the Navigator panel, find the EA and drag it onto your chart.


Step 6. Configure settings and click "OK" to activate.
